Packaging and Gift wrapping

All our jewellery comes in one of our gorgeous gift boxes made from recycled materials. Using sustainable packaging is very, very important to us.
Gift wrapping is available at an additional cost.

Shipping charges and Dispatch times

Free UK delivery with no minimum spend. Most UK orders are posted 1st class Recorded with Royal Mail which typically takes 1-2 business days. You also have the option to upgrade to faster delivery once you reach the checkout. 

Free worldwide delivery with a minimum spend of £50. International Shipping times will vary depending on the country, it usually takes between 5 and 10 business days but can take up to 3 weeks at busy times. If your international order is urgent, we can upgrade to a faster shipping method, just let us know. 

We will dispatch 1-9 business days after your order has been made depending on if an engraving has been ordered. Once dispatched, you will be provided a tracking number so you can follow the progress of your delivery.

NB We are not responsible for any customs or import duty charges.

Return Policy

Most items are protected by the Distance Selling Regulations which means you have 14 days after the day you receive the item to return it.
*This does not affect your Statutory Rights*.

Personalised to order jewellery (e.g. engraved, plated) and earrings are not refundable or valid for exchanges.

Hallmarking

By UK law any silver items i.e. sterling silver bangles, silver necklaces for women, silver torque collars, fine silver etc. that weighs over 7.78 grams MUST be hallmarked. We are registered with the Assay Office in London, England and every piece of our jewellery over 7.78 grams has our 'sponsor' mark as well as the Assay Office mark and a mark to confirm the silver content. These marks are 925 for sterling and 999 for fine silver. This gives reassurance that what you are buying is indeed genuine silver. If you are purchasing something under 7.78 grams we can arrange hallmarking at your request but please note this will incur extra cost & will take longer to process.

Care instructions

We are often asked, 'what is the best way to keep silver from tarnishing' or for info on the best way 'to keep silver shiny'.  Tarnish is something that will happen to silver occasionally but it is easily removed with a quick rub of a polishing cloth.  You can purchase our polishing cloth here which will help you keep your jewellery shiny and tarnish free.

Custom and personalised orders

All our pieces can be customized to your personal preferences. If you would like any piece engraved with a personal name, inscription, date, etc, you can add this to your order on any of our jewellery. We can engrave with any font you choose or even copy your own handwriting for a truly bespoke personalised gift. As you would expect, all our engraving is done by hand using traditional techniques right here in the heart of London's jewellery quarter.

Sizing details for bangles

The collection of sterling silver bangles for women, men and children to fit all wrist sizes at Mon Bijoux is extensive so it's definitely in your interest to know how to buy the right size for yourself or as a gift to somebody else. 
Most of our bangles will be for a standard wrist size which will fit 95% of wrists. Bangles with a clasp opening will go on sideways and fit in a nice oval shape on the wrist. This will be a more comfortable fit than a slide on bangle and the hand size will have no bearing. 

We also offer tiny bangles for children or ladies with very small wrists, small silver bangles for teenagers and dainty wrists as well as large silver bracelets and extra large wrist sizes for men or ladies with larger than average wrist sizes. If you are not sure about the sizing, just let us know and we can help to find the perfect bangle for your wrist size. Can you put cremation ashes in a locket?

Yes, this is one of the main reasons people buy our amazing silver and glass lockets and small silver urns. It's a very thoughtful way to remember a dear departed loved one.  Our silver lockets and urn necklaces are the perfect way to preserve the last remains from a dear departed loved one and wear them close to your heart for eternity.  

What are necklaces called that hold ashes?

Ashes are held inside lockets or urns (and with a chain, it's a locket necklace or a cremation urn necklace). We sell an amazing collection of handcrafted cremation necklaces in the form of silver lockets and urns that do the job beautifully. Just read through our reviews. They are also perfect to have engraved to make the item even more special and memorable.  An cremation urn necklace or a locket necklace is the perfect gift to consider to somebody who may have just lost somebody close.

Is it weird to wear ashes in a necklace?

In a word, no!  It's about capturing and retaining a piece of our lost loved one and having them near at all times.  This way, you can take the departed loved one on holiday with you to a place that they maybe never got to visit.  Maybe the round the world trip that was always considered but never had a chance to do.  To do this, you'll only need a very small amount of ashes to make one of our lockets into a fabulous keepsake necklace.
